RN/LPN
An Rn/LPN can perform all tasks a CNA/PCA can. Here are some services that only an RN/LPN can complete. Administering medications. Wound care. Catheter care. Insulin injection. Performing physical exams and diagnostic tests. Checking for infection, bedsores, and other treatment options.
CNA/PCA
Turning or moving patients. Gathering medical supplies. Bathing patients. Grooming patients by brushing their hair, teeth, shaving them, etc. Feeding patients and documenting their food and liquid intake. Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate. Answering patient calls. Documenting information. Cleaning rooms and bed linens. Transporting patients,
May remind the patient of medications.

Companion/ Sitter
Provide companionship. Prepare and serve meals, Provide grooming and dressing "guidance." Light housekeeping. Shopping for patients includes grocery and clothes shopping. Provide transportation for patients, which includes visits to doctor appointments, family members, friends, or stores. Provide assistance and planning of patient's recreational activities and events.
